My name is Dexter. I had a great family once. I remember. I am sure they were great, until one cold night they dumped me in the forest. It was raining and cold. I didn’t know what to do. I hid under the bushes escaping the inevitable. I never had seen a place like this. I was born in a nice place, I had brothers and sister, and I had a wonderful mom. I was given to a family; I lived indoors all my life. They taught me not pee inside, and they taught me other good things. I enjoyed car rides with them, going to places. I was part of their family. The forest was dark, cold and scary. I was hungry and tired. I didn’t want to be on the road, cars scared me, so I wanted to be under the bushes. Until one night a very sweet human drove by me and took me inside her car. She took care of me and gave shelter and love. Now I am at my foster mom. She is excellent mother. I love her very much and I wish if I can stay with her forever, but they say I need to find my forever family in the other side of the earth. There they say it’s a wonderland.
